1) INTRODUCTION OF INNOVATIVE CABINETS
with implemented UHF RFID technology for contents inventory
TECHMARK SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ has received a grant from the European Union for the project entitled:
"Techmark's introduction of innovative cabinets with implemented UHF RFID technology for content inventory".
The project relates to the implementation in Techmark's operations of the results of R&D work carried out independently within the framework of the 1.1th POIR project and the introduction to the market of a product innovation in the form of metal cabinets with content inventory using UHF RFID technology. The result will be an innovative fundamentally improved product in the form of metal cabinets with implemented UHF RFID technology, which enables full identification of the assets stored in the cabinet and records retrievals and returns.
Fundamental improvements in these products include higher reading efficiency for a large number of tags (more than 1,000), high electromagnetic integrity, and the ability to customize the product form to meet specific customer expectations (a cabinet with a common area and a cabinet with an inventory in caches). These products will be designed for the inventory of assets tagged with UHF RFID tags (tools, hardware, chemicals, clothing, documents and others) and the new features will enable better satisfaction of market needs.
The project will be implemented as part of the innovation implementation module, within the framework of which there will be an expansion of the warehouse production building (Kaczeńcowa Street, Lodz) together with the purchase of a bending center necessary for the production of innovative products.
The project will benefit employees who participate in the processes of creating new products and people who manage innovations in Techmark Sp z o.o. company. Ultimately, the modern products that will be introduced to the market will be used by the company's customers in Poland and abroad.

The project refers to implementation of the results obtained during R&D activities conducted by the company, and using these results in order to manufacture products, which are considerably improved as compared to other products available on the market.
These products refer to furniture with integrated electronic components. During R&D activities both the product and the relevant technology have been developed. During the project implementation we intend to purchase state-of-art technical solutions in the field of cutting and bending, as well as to introduce certain changes to painting process. Moreover, the project requires extension of the building.
Project assumptions
Thanks to project targets and expected results, the project contributes to fulfilment of II Axis of the Regional Operational Programme of the Łódzkie Voivodship for 2014-2020, i.e. Innovative and competitive economy, including its specific objective: Increased implementation of innovative solutions in the SME. Implementation of the project, the results obtained during R&D activities, as well as the latest technologies will translate into increased innovation in the field of solutions used in the company and faster development of the company. Actions to be taken as part of the project comply with the target of Measure II.3 Increased competitiveness of SME Sub-measure II.3.1. Innovations in SME, which directly contributes to increased competitiveness and faster development of enterprises located in the Łódzkie Voivodship.

6) RFID-BASED PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Project title: Research conducted in order to develop products with new functionalities.
Project budget: PLN 1,490,231.96
Funding sources: Company’s own resources and the grant obtained under the Measure 1.1 of the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020, which is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
Implementation period: 01.09.2017 – 30.09.2018
The aim of the project is to develop innovative products, which use radio-frequency identification (RFID) e.g. for access control. Out innovative product is to comply with the Internet of Things concept, as a result of which assets (documents, tools, equipment) management process is improved and better organised.
The project shall be implemented in 4 stages over 13-months period between 01.09.2017 and 30.09.2018.
As part of the project we intend to verify our technology, in relation to which we have applied for patent protection, and to implement it in our new products.
New solutions developed by our experts expanded possible applications of the RFID technology by implementing it in products which store resources. Detailed information of functionalities of our products and R&D activities will be updated as the project implementation advances.
7) DEVELOPMENT OF OFFICE DESKS AND INDUSTRIAL WORKSTATIONS

The project will be implemented under Measure 1.2. “Sectoral R&D programmes” of the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020, which is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

CThe aim of this project is to develop innovative office desks and industrial workstations with improved ergonomics contributing to the user’s better comfort and safety.
Thanks to the products’ new structure based on linear actuators, end users will be able to fully adapt their workplace, so that it is possible to change the working position during the daytime in order to take the strain of one’s musculoskeletal system and reduce other adverse impacts, which result e.g. from sedentary work. Discussed structures will be also suitable for individuals suffering from physical disabilities.
Our innovative product will answer technical problems and limitations, which are present in currently available products, and will increase the number of design options.
The project will be implemented in 5 stages over 21-months period between 01.12.2017 – 31.08.2019.
Accomplishment of the project will lead to development of a complete line of height adjustable office desks, including the ones suitable for individuals suffering from physical disabilities, and industrial workstations for different purposes.
8) THE USE OF RADIO WAVES

Implementation period: 01.10.2019 – 31.01.2023
The project outcome consists in the development of the innovative, substantially improved product – metal cabinets with the implemented RFID UHF technology, thanks to which items stored in the cabinet are fully identified, and their takings and returns are registered.
The basic changes in theses products are to include: improved reading efficiency with a large number of tags (advantageously over 1000 tags) on one hand, and implementation of RFID UHF technology to register events in small, electromagnetically tight, metal spaces constituting compartments in a cabinet, on the other hand. The products in question are to be used to register documents or equipment (tools, hardware, chemical substances, clothes, and other types of items). Storage of equipment is to be the basic function of the products, whereas RFID technology allows for fully automatic supervision and registration of the cabinets’ content.
